What a great day we had. Went out on Linda and Ron's boat and they all fished while I relaxed in the breeze. They caught several crappie that were 10-13" long and Paul was oohing and aahhing......until they decided to fish for Tilapia. It was a first for Paul and we'd never seen this fish before. What an experience. First you can't use a pole you have to use this net that you toss and it has weights on the bottom of it that surround the fish and trap it. Well after several throws, Ron caught one and when he brought it on the boat you should have seen Paul's (and my) eyes!!!! This fish was about 19" long and weighed about 7lbs!!!! It was amazing to see. Well he caught another one a few minutes later that was a little bigger, almost 20". They filleted them all and Paul is going to freeze them. So enjoy these pics.
The canal Linda and Ron live on....
looking for that certain spot....
Paul threw his cork out and a little gator grabbed it.......crazy!!!

Great time, we thank Linda and Ron so much for making us feel so welcome and taking us out for an enjoyable day. It was fun. On to Orlando tomorrow and volleyball next week.
