Remember the famous "kiss" after the end of the war. The statue is here for a while...they need to raise $1 million in order to keep it here and have it bronzed.

We sat for a while waiting for them to raise the mast and sails, but never got it done. Think they needed Captain Jack to help them out.

Went to the beach that has been taken over by the seals......so many of them....cute!

Mt. Solead....a memorial to the veterans of all wars...overlooks the city....
see the dolphins.....there were lots of them around....
Day 3 will entail a hike up to the highest peak in San Diego....are we up for it!!! We'll see.
