Even though we've been here before, we enjoy going to the Missions and just walking around. The history is just shouting at you there. This is the San Jose Mission.
The church was closed last year when we were here so they could restore it. The inside is done, they are still working on the outside.
We are waiting on our friends, Bev and Steve to get here tomorrow and then we will be going down to the Riverwalk. They've never been there, so we'll be doing lots of walking and taking the little boat ride. Of course, it wouldn't be right to go down there and not EAT!! We are both going to have to DIET for a month to get the weight off that we both have gained. Oh well, it's been worth it. More later.
